Quoting you as a test to see if the notification goes through now.

Our emails were being throttled recently due to unusually high volume. Should be fixed now.

Re: No Email

It came back the other day. Sorry I didn't notify.

Email notification dropped out again today. Sometime after 9:38 this morning Mountain Time.

Re: No Email

My settings are correct for getting email notifications (and I did not change anything). They started coming again about 1:10 pm yesterday, so it was a short period.

Re: No Email

Once again, it appears that I am not getting all my email alerts for posts to threads I subscribe to. I started a thread on 2/12 and got emails of replies to it through 2/13 at 6:30 a.m. Replies after 8:00 (five of them) did not send an email notification.

Today, I was looking at “New Posts” and noticed that the thread “TBA Meeting (Tool Buyers Anonymous)” showed as having a new post at 11:35 a.m. My email inbox was empty – no notifications.

Everything in-between seems to have sent an email.

I have not changed any of my settings in years.

Work-arounds seem to be becoming the norm... one way you don't have to worry about notifications that you aren't receiving, is if you click on "My Account" on the upper right corner, and then "My Profile"... it shows the threads you started and last 500 posts on the left, so easy jump-off point to zero in on finding what you're looking for since the search engine is usually of little help... between that and "New Posts" it seems to cover the bases...

I'll give you a guess why I've been using it for a while now...

Re: No Email

Just go to the My Subscriptions link near the upper right corner. It'll show you everything you are subscribed to. If there's something new it'll be bolded.

That's what I do. Email notification is great for places I don't visit regularly, but I don't need to be bombarded with messages from here. It'd almost be like getting an email every time my wife says something to me.

Re: No Email

I wish I would stop getting emails with reply notifications. Tapatalk notifies me of some things, otherwise I just slide over to the "participated" tab in Tapatalk to see the replies.

I gave up on trying to stop the CT emails and just set Outlook up to filter them into a different folder that I empty out periodically

Re: No Email

You have instant email notification set in your account. Disable that and they should stop.

I need an email every time my wife says something to me. Most of the time when she says something to me, I'm staring off into space - breathing through my mouth.
