My suggestion is to designate a specific area in your site that make every one who is preparing for license to ask and share his experience during this delayed painful process. In regards to procedure and the best product school can provide, especially its also can attract a lots of schools to advertise Thank you |

Re: Liscense Forum
That's a good idea. The bad thing is that all license requirements change from state to state and even from city to city.

Thank you. |

Re: Liscense Forum
Like Grumpy said, It's different. My FL license was accepted in NC without a hitch but going the other direction is impossible so I am told. I'm assuming that it's the Miami-Dade code that is being rapidly employed in many other counties.
Might make a good topic though, why not try it for a while and see what happens? |

Re: Liscense Forum
Theres a balance between how many forums you should have. If you have too many of them people can't find anything.
I was on a site the other day that had over 90 forums. I couldn't find anything!

Re: Liscense ForumQuote:
Luckily I bought a subs for $350 for $6000. Preferred rate!! I can do two trades under the bond and licence. Plus the state says you can do other trades if you don't make more than 1000 dollars of the job. I guess it's a handyman clause. Actually I should check if that is still stands. And up to 7 or 8 home in a tract for $1900 with no employee's for a year for 1mil/2mil. But they can audit me it will only cost me another 2g's and the end of the year for one other guy. Re: Liscense Forum
Much more complicated than in this neck of the woods. Probably helps to keep the riffraff out. Good luck.

Re: Liscense ForumQuote:
The state version of keeping out the riff raff was to up the insurance rate on tracts/condos. That happened two years ago. I was given a killer quote for tract included g/l two years ago I waited two months when I had a lil more capital. Then the frick'en state cancelled all policies. It also drove out alot of insurance companies. They also drove out alot of hack siders and roofers. Insurance for them is almost non-exsitent unless you want to pay alot of money. I was going to got for siding (other than wood) as a second trade but insurance would of killed me. I hear stucco guys are getting the shaft too now. I think the insanity would end if they just required a exam. I am not afraid of it. But I know they guys I have worked for are. |
