Hey Mods! Did you know

Hey Mods, did you know that you can now put a warning message on Old Post threads. The poster will have to acknowledge that the post is old and check off that they still want to post. Cool New Feature! Here is a sample:

Old Thread Warning
This Thread is more than 269 days old. It is very likely that it does not need any further discussion and thus bumping it serves no purpose.
If you still feel it is necessary to make a new reply, you can still do so though.
I am aware that this Thread is rather old but I still want to make a reply.

It's more fun making people look foolish.

But seriously folks......I am in support of that idea.

Good Job!

I'm gonna wait a year or two before I respond to this thread.

I'm sure Nathan will take a look at this and we'll see what he thinks.

There are some very good and informative threads, that once they resurface, I really appreciate the fact that someone else needed to take another look at that topic.

Thats possibly rarer than a newb just stumbling on here and finding the buried chest of treasures for the very first time, but it does highlight why the archived information is and will remain to be an invaluable resource for many of those that have not been on here for a long period of time.

There's a new version of the forum software that runs this site coming out in a month or two. I'm not wanting to install any more hacks until that comes out since a lot of things are going to change. It's a good addition though and good suggestion.
