Getting alerts for individual threads

A popular feature in LinkedIn groups is the availability to be alerted when additional posts are made to a thread. Some people use this to track responses to their posts, and others just to be alerted to posts even if they have not added anything themselves. Is this something that already exists, or may possibly come at a later time? Regards,

Yep when you click a thread that you like click on thread tools and click on subscribe to this thread and choose the frequency of the alerts
