Ditto. No issues here at all.

Been using FF for two years
never a problem before.
No other sites crash, but when
this one takes it down it will take
any other windows with it.

Same here, but I'm on Vista.

I have occasional crashes on other sites, and I suspect certain flash apps/players.

Are you sure it isn't something in one of the other windows? I use tabs instead of windows. I'll have severaltabs going at once and I can usualy ID the tab that caused the crash.

Re: Firefox Crash?

I can't be sure, cause sometimes it crashes
before the site even loads, but it only seems
to happen when the DeWalt ad is showing.
Maybe coincidence, but the problem seemed
to start about the same time as that ad
appeared.
Maybe voodoo?

Maybe I forgot to click "send". Or was it Ed The Roofer I PM concerning a similar situmawation??????

Either way.

It is best to save your "Bookmarks" on to the "Desktop", uninstall FF via "Control Panel", then "Search" for "All files and folders" on "Local Drive 'C' ".

Delete any FireFox files that are "Prefetch". You can delete all FireFox folders that are NOT part of another program. WARNING!!! Delete one wrong file and things could get screwy!

But CERTAINLY delete the "PreFtch" or "PREFETCH" for FF.

Then repeat this procedure for using the "Search Term" "Mozilla".

This WILL void your Computer of any of the old FF files.

Reload and reinstall "Bookmarks".

POST SCRIPT: If you do a simple unistall, FF will remember all your bookmarks!

Re: Firefox Crash?

Sounds like everyone needs to update to version 3.0.5. That is the newest version that just came out about a week ago.

Thanks, I'll run that past Kiddo.
See if he thinks I'm capable.
He wants to make a CD to prevent
what he thinks is a
"down load corruption" problem.

But there is this woman who lives
with him, and she thinks she owns
his time right now.
