Drywall Section

Would be nice if drywall section will be added to the forum since it is part of construction world.

Thank you

Re: Drywall Section

Does anyone else think there needs to be a drywall section? I've always grouped it in with Painting myself.

Either painting or a framing/general carpentry section.

Re: Drywall Section

I believe it should be in framing/gerneral as well because drywaller does install steel frame stud. I do that once awhile

I think we should have our own section as we are a special type of carpentry skilled trade.
I just started a new drywall business and could use all the help I can get in that area. Some of the questions I might ask would be of no interest to a wood carpenter but very interesting to a drywall installer

Re: Drywall Section

I would think anything pertaining to drywall would pertain to a framer from an installation aspect. And for business questions - business is business whether you're a framer, drywaller, concrete finisher, etc.

Re: Drywall Section

Drywall added to the carpentry forum. If enough activity is there we will move it to the main forum.

So... invite your friends!
