Commercial Construction Section

I would love to see a commercial construction section. A place were the big buildings and bridge guys have a place to trade information freely. We could show off pictures of projects and get help with issues as far as labor, subs, owners, regulators, ect. I have spent the past few weeks looking through the entire site and I find many helpful items I get the sense it is more geared for the light commercial and residentail contractors. I would love to hear everyones input on this. So feel free to voice you opinion.

Re: Commercial Construction Section

Maybe a sub forum of Construction? Once it got to 2K+ posts we could move it to the front page?

I'd like to hear others views on this.

Thanks!

Re: Commercial Construction Section

It's something I've wanted to do for a while actually but just didnt' know if there would be any interest. Once we nail down a name I'll add it to the construction forum.

Hopefully people will find it there.

Re: Commercial Construction Section

I have been looking for awhile for a place to ask questions about subject regarding RFI, Submittals, Subs, Conctract/Insurance/Bonds ect... this is the closest thing I have seen. I know there are other people out there that are looking for a place to exchange ideas free of charge and get really good advise but there is nothing out there that does anything for the GC/CM or any subs in the heavey commercial or industrial sector. But at the present moment i think you and i are the only ones interested LOL
