Thumbs up

Wisconsin Newguy

Hello from Milwaukee. I have been reading this sight for several months and must say I am very impressed with the format and the professional advise everyone has to give. I am a 30 yr old carpenter with 10 yrs exp.(framing, drywall, ceilings, custom cabinets, and finishwork) looking to move on my own. But honestly, am a little intimidated. My boss has offered me a subcontractor role with his small remodeling company, but I dont know if Im ready to manage my own outfit. I have an enormous passion for our trade and wouldnt give it up for anything.(love to be my own boss!!!). It is the business end Im falling short in(contracts, estimates, forms, costs, markups, taxes, labor wages.etc.)I look forward to hearing your advice and a strong kick in the butt to get me going in the right direction.

Any info will be greatly appreciated
Thanks

For a better representation of reality, better try a shark infested swimming pool.
