I was doing some investigating last week on moving to Ft. Worth. I came across over 700 companies that do flooring installs and 200 ad's per day for DFW on CL.

Thats a tough market when you have to compete with non licensed (no licensing required in Tx.) people named Juan and Jose doing flooring and tile for $1.25 a sq ft.

If I were you, I would not move here.

Too much illegal labor here.

It's a tough time to start a business anywhere today.
It's harder when you have to compete with non tax paying, uninsured, non English speaking people.

It should'nt be a problem but Joe Homeowner will take tghe cheapest price and not even question, prep, installation quality or anything. Texas is tough that way. I think too many people are transient and just care about things looking O.K.
Heck, they won't be in that house in 5 years!

Not what I grew up with in Boston but I think it is getting that way there too?

We want it all,,,no matter what the cost to society

It gets so frustrating I am gonna go have one of my imported damn beers
