Up And Comming

Hello, I am currently a Excavating/ Grading Contractor in Southeastern North Carolina. I am interested in expaanding the company to commercial/residential building contractor. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get started in the building contractor's world? Should I start as a carpenter? I need to learn to basic hands on about the building side of the house?

Wow, that is a big leap. No idea how you would go from one to the other without just abandoning what you're doing now.

Welcome to the site. Hope someone else has some better ideas than I do.
