Hi Ya'll,

It has been a long time since I was to this board. I moved from Florida last Spring up to Reading, Pa. If you ask why, my wife is from up here and the truth is that my town of Jacksonville has gone to pot with all the illegal, un licensed and uninsured contractors coupled with the penny pincher homeowers who watch the online bloggers and think that they can do it theirselves.

Any deck builders out there looking for a certified deck restorer as well as color specialist in choosing the right stains for those hard to please homeowners give me a shout.

Actually with that last line said there should be a huge market to restore all the DIY projects?

Thanks for the reception all. Pa is different than Florida thats for sure. I went one day to eat some Bar B Q and what I got was a sloppy Joe. I could not believe it, so I now have a smoker and do my own magic rubs and such.

As far as the cold. I like cooler weather because it is Blistering in Florida during the Summer and so humid you better not leave home without a towel.

The fact I sound like a redneck gets the question asked everytime I speak. "Whats the largest buck you shot" I replied "I have never shot a buck and for that matter I dont step on the pennies either"

So I guess I am a little homesick to be able to wear shorts through the Winter for the most part and actually not be afraid to slip on black ice, but other than that I am perfect

On the Bar B q comment. Next year I plan on opening a real North Carolina Q camp eating establishment. Even if I do not make any money I can have the good stuff lol.

Well hows it going man?ide of town are you from? I lived most of my life on the Northside of town. I graduated from Andrew Jackson back in 1989. Played football and the whole bit. I lived in Middleburg (Go rednecks lol) Westside and the OP. I call it The OP because it helps all the rich people out there who could not quite afford The Bolles :>)

Why in the world did they cut Fred Taylor. I mean I hope they do not think Drew Jones is going to carry the whole team. He has talent, but he could not have carried the team as a one back guy like Taylor did for years.
