Software guy for contractors saying hello

Hi all,
I am Brian who runs MyOnlineToolbox.com. I was contacted to offer some opinions and just wanted to first say hello to the community. I will try my best to be viewed as selling, which is hard to overcome when you are very passionate about the future of contractors. By this I mean, it is clear from this forum that contractors are evolving fast to be as equal as a business person as they are viewed as a craftsperson. I authored an article awhile ago called "Are Contractors Crazy?" and willl guide you to a site that is not from my business to demonstrate I am not looking to drive traffic to my site, but rather demonstrate my interests to watching the industry evolve around the acceptance of technology. Go to redvector.com then add the following to the end of the url

extra/newsletter/march08/construction/article01.html

You will see that I am not just jumping in here to promote since I have been active for some time.

I have been watching Nathan and this forum grow for many years and am really glad to see a focused support group make the traction I always knew would come. Feel free to reach out to me in private if there is anything that I may be able to assist you with when it comes to my background in business solutions.

Good luck to everyone
Brian Javeline

Welcome Brian.

I wouldn't mind you discussing the way your system works for a small company with just one primary user account.

I can't speak for Nathan, but I do believe that you have had an ad on here for quite some time, so the members should have an opportunity to see how your system works that are unfamiliar with it.

Where and how would your system benefit them?

Also, what other systems would compare to the software that you supply, so they have a neutral opportunity to see the differences from one to another.

Will get back to you soon

Hi Ed,
I will get back to you with that sometime next week. I want to first reply to some innovative ideas for Lead Generation topics and also have a few things I am knee-deep in and made some promises for. Will chat soon.

Ed,
I may need a moment on this since I prefer not break the rules since it will be self promotion. Give me some time on the initial reason I came to contribute pertaining to the Lead Generation Services and then I will get back to you. Best wishes.

Thanks Ed,
I can answer from a feature & comparison perspective (subject to debate) as well as philisophical. I rather begin by replying to the philisophical side since it does not focus on the line-by-line differences. You can see a birds eye perspective in a video that is the motivation of why I entered the industry. To be within the framework of self promotion, this will be my only mention of the company name to address your question. http://www.myonlinetoolbox.com/Corpo...o/AboutUs.aspx. Once on this page, just click on the "Click Here" for a message from our president link.

I will personally reach out to you since perhaps it may be better to re-ask and reply to these questions within a thread in the technology section that already talks about our product. I prefer to contain promotion within what already exists. Also, it may be more appropriate to wait for some changes to this site before I talk since obviously I am rather prejudiced. Will talk outside the forum shortly. Brian

Hi Eric,
Nice to hear from you up there. My connection to the twin cities is that I met a Partner of a Private Equity firm (www.sherpapartners.com) based in your area that became our first investor to help support me bringing my business to the contracting market. Best of luck with the biz.
Brian
