Say Hi to a Perfect Plumber in SC

If you are checking out my intro., my mission to get my intro noticed was successful.

Okay, I'm not a perfect plumber. My husband and I own a plumbing company in Myrtle Beach specializing in residential service and repair.

I take care of all the paperwork and marketing. My husband is responsible for sales, technical expertise, and managing our plumbers.

Our goal is to propel our business to the next level. What I can bring to the forum is marketing advice on what has and hasn't worked for our business. Everything I learned has been from trial and error. If I can save another contractor some money by not wasting it on what doesn't work, than I have accomplished something good. My personal philosophy is that the more good you do, the more that comes back to you! It may be self-serving, but if I can help you and me at the same time - that's fantastic.

What I hope to get from the forum is sound marketing and business advice.

As for the perfect comment - we are not perfect (we aim to be). Local contractors do like working with our company. We are very respectful and give proper credit to all the players in the construction field. A few of the ways we are different:

When we cut a hole in the sheetrock to source a leak, it is cut perfectly square because we know a drywaller will need to patch.
When we find a mistake in the field, we follow the chain of command and take it up directly with the contractor.
When a contractor gets behind the eight ball, we will move heaven and earth to get there and get him out of a bind.
When our customers need other tradesman, we refer local contractors who have a proven track record and share our commitment to excellence.
When we mess up, we fess up and fix it.

Sorry for the long intro.

Tammy
