Just stumbled upon this site. Love to see how active it is. About me: I come from a large family all contractors. Dad made us kids work in construction. I started when I was 8 years old (slave labor?). Started out at 25 cents an hour, by the end of the summer break I could buy a new t-shirt to replace the one I just ruined!! I do love construction and know a lot about it. Hope I can contribute to this site; hope I can gain some knowledge from this site.

For the last 6 years I have been in the cabinet industry and Door/bath hardware resell business. I have since dropped cabinetry and am focusing in on the door hardware resell. Hopefully some day I will have my own line of hardware. Would love to hear a nation wide aspect on door hardware. Like what brands you appreciate the most and why.
