Radiant Supplier with Questions

Howdy, folks!
I'm a Pacific NW supplier of electric radiant heat. I have been at this a while, living in a comfort zone of installing under tile. Now I'm trying to bring some solutions to my customers who want to install under laminate, vinyl, and hardwood. So I'm asking the experts how they get their best results with a conventional wire product, and I also have some questions about a new material I am thinking of introducing. Anything you can share about radiant, particularly electric radiant under laminate, would be MOST appreciated. I am posting more specific questions in the forums.

Not much choice here Ken. The cable is inserted in a SLC first. Then whatever you want over the top. You just have to be sure that the glue manufacturer (if one is being used) is ok over radiant.

Welcome to CT, sorry but I can't see an electric product working under those products unless it is embedded in thinest or gyp-crete & then I bet it would probably void the manufacturers warranty

Hey SLS!
Check out ZMesh. It can go directly under carpet padding (though we suggest laying 1/4" luon over just to smooth out the runs), Pergo (and it's foam pad), hardwood etc...you can nail through it without a problem too.
