Newly Licensed General Contractor MN

Hello Everyone Newly licensed General contractor. I am experienced finish carpenter as well. Anyone have any new tips for me? I was wondering if there is a percent or rate you put on subcontracting jobs so you see profit.

In Minnesota we have the "Secret Price Cartel" for GC's. Its tough to get in and even tougher to stay in. First thing is being invited to a meeting, you will be blindfolded and driven to the secret meeting place where you will be forced to watch Bob Villa reruns for hours. Then you will be asked to read books on estimating and processes and more.
