New Member In Texas

Hello from Paris,TX

I did a Google search for home building and came upon this site. It appears that there is a vast amount of information here. I hope I can get through a lot of the threads and soak up some more knowledge.

By way of an introduction, my wife and I are semi-retired (that means that I work most of the time and she stays at home) and we have bought three houses and remodel/rehab them. One we live in, one we have rented and one is on the market for sale. I am actively looking for another project, but the real estate market in this part of Texas is rather slow. The rental house and the house for sale were on the lower end of price scale and it is hard to fix these kind of houses up and make any money in the near term, therefore, I'm starting to look for houses that are somewhat more expensive, don't need as much work and can be put back on the market in a shorter period of time with more profit.

Sorry to be so long-winded. I look forward to hearing from some of you. Good day and God's blessings.

Kenn
