New From Maryland!
Hey everyone,
Drywall contractor from Maryland here. Just thought i'd take the time to introduce myself. I do commercial and residential drywall construction. When it comes to custom homes and additions I just hang and finish them, and sometimes paint. But I was born and bread in commercial and try to lean towards it as best I can. We specialize in Metal Stud Framing, Insulation, Drywall, Finishing, Painting, and Acoustical Ceiling installations. I'm not huge into painting, if I can't cut-in and roll it out I wont full with it. no faux finishes or sponge rag. Just plain old primer and finish coats. I know alot of you guys are residential remodelers, but I am always looking for other pro's to hook up with, for guidance, rants and raves, or anything. Cause if i've learned one thing it's that it's hell to go it alone. Well thanks for reading and i'll see ya in the fourms!

Re: New From Maryland!
I've lived here my whole life, and it's not bad. I live in Baltimore County on the water so I find it peaceful. You are right though there is a ton of money around here. The commercial market is booming. New residential isn't doing to bad either. You just need to find yourself a couple good reputable GC's. If you want, send me your info MShively@EvergreenDrywall.net and if anyone of my builders needs your services, I'll pass it on. You'll at least get a chance to bid.
