New Guy...

Hello to everyone.

I'm Chris..I'm leaving my job as a Superintendent with a multifamily builder in the Metro DC area, this spring, to move to the Philadelphia area and start a remodeling business...

I'm a carpenter by trade, and have decided to go out on my own, and try to make it work....

I'm most interested in some advice on the do's and don't's of starting out. ....I hope to become a contributing member of the board..

cheers,
Chris

Welcome.

Do get insurance.
Do find a good CPA.
Don't take advice on your business from your buddies.
