New GC From Washington State

We started out as the Family HandyParents but soon found ourselves embroiled in properties other than our own family. We could have chosen to be lisc. as a sub or Handyman but chose GC due to the fact we from time to time need to hire subs which required the GC status in our state.

The easy going days are over and now bigger projects are headed our way as our son and D-inlaw are beginning to develop many properties.

There are many things to learn and we are fortunate to have a veteran GC who built our house(s), as a mentor, but his time is valuable and I try to offset his help by hiring him on projects. This is why I have registered here.

We look forward to reading all your wisdom.

Thanks,
PW

My UG is UW and my sons is WSU and his MBA is UW. So while I went to UW, I payed WSU a ton more. Kinda gives me some cougness.

I live on the cold side of the state now and the moss on my back has dried up and the webs between my fingers have receeded.
