New To Contractor Talk
Hey guys how is it going. This is a very nice forum you have. Glad I am now a part of it now.
I am a 3rd gen contractor, my grandfather was a property manager (300 unit apt) my Father is/was a General contractor. Have work for my father my whole life, trying other jobs part time to see what I liked. He down sized last winter. I had to either go work for some one else or start my own. Went to work for a nother company for 4 months. Then went on my own. Was official july 1st, things have been going well so far. Basically been in the industry for 10 years and ran a crew of 3-5 guys for the last five. Cole |

Re: New To Contractor Talk
Thanks guys.
Cole is an awesome name isn't it!? One thing is all the damn tools I didn't have. I had most of the basics, but scafold and siding break and skid steer that I don't have. All those you use but don't think about until you are the boss and don't have them. |

Earn as much as you can and buy everything you need. A wise man once said, "Always buy the best, you won't be disappointed" That's my philosophy on tools anyway. That, and you can never have too many. And a skid steer? Oh HELL yeah, you gotta have that whether you need it or not. |

![]() It is For Cole's Custom Creations from when I use to make and sell custom radio controlled cars. That is what is in the middle of the wrench. I just kept the name since I had a tax ID an all that setup allready. Good observation, I am a car guy. Quote:
