New Canadian Guy.

Greetings all,

Just dropping a quick note as seems the protocol around here.

Last few years I've been working Carpentry to get my feet wet in the construction industry and figure out what's what.

My goal has been since the beginning to start my own one man show doing handyman/renovation work. As I've gotten to the point where I have learned how little exactly I do know - I figure I'm ready to start tuning my business plan and getting ready to jump in.

I've spent some time over at JLC over the past few years learning from the folks over there and thought I'd give Contractors Talk a go. Most likely will not be posting to many questions at first until I've had a chance to pour through your archives, but I'll try to jump in here and there if I have anything useful to to add on a good subject... or anything useless to add on a pointless subject.

Look forward to participating in the discussions.

Matt

I'm located in the interior of BC... under about a foot of snow at the moment.
