New To The Buisiness

Hello to all,
I am very interested and excited to do some more detailed research with this great site. In the meantime I am conteplating expanding my buisiness into high end window and doors (residential and commercial) in the Los Angeles area. I believe the product will be best suited for high end remodels and upscale commerial prodjects.
a few questions for the pro's:
A) What is the best way to get contractors to use your product?
B) What is the best way to find out when new prodjects are open to bid?
C) How does a contractor usually decide on the windows for a prodject?

Any words of wisdom from the pro's in the field would be greatly appreciated.

You're a contractor or a retail salesman? Do you specialize in fire extinguishers too?

By the way, thanks for posting here first...

Re: New To The Buisiness

Mac,
I am a contractor and arborist in a completly different field (tree buisness). I am trying to touch bases with some contractors that have dealt with high end windows. I am developing a detailed buisness plan to see if this is even a viable idea. This site seems like a great resource to help me along. Hopefully I can also help somebody in return.

I wish I was in the fire extinquisher buisness... My house might not have burnt down in the san diego wildfires a few months back.

regards,
Brian
