Looking For Advice On Joinery Site Work In Australia

Hi everyone. My name is Jay, I am a 28 year old Carpenter from Liverpool, England. I am entering Australia on a 12 month working holiday visa, with the hope of getting a sponsorship, from a building firm, in order to stay permanently. I am entering this blind, as i dont really know who to ask, any help would be greatly appreciated. Was wondering if there was much work for joiners at the moment? Also, how much i can expect to earn? I am thinking of possibly going to Brisbane, would i need a blue card to work here? thanks for your time, hope to hear from u soon.

Well, first off welcome to CT, there is or was at least one member from Australia as I recall, but beyond that I can't help you. Mind putting your location in your profile?
