Just Wanted To Say Hi To Everyone

Hi I am a paint contractor in South Missouri. I started painting with my dad after school and in the summer. Started painting full time about 14 years ago. My dad still works with me. We paint new custom homes. Dads whole family are painters but, I am the only one out of all my cousins to carry on the paint brush. LOL The kicker is I'm a woman. I must say it is a hard job for a woman but I LOVE IT. Though those 5 gallon buckets can get a little heavy when you are doing a 5,000 sq ft house. My dad says, "I am not the best, but it takes the best to beat me". LOL Dad has been painting for 51 years now. It is really a prividge to have someone teach you that has as much knowledge as him. He was a union painter at the age of 17 (getting full pay). He said, "I have never worked for a contractor that didn't teach me something". He is getting a little tired now, but don't think he will ever stop painting. It is literally in his blood.
