My #1 sparkey had a health issue so obviously that hurt him and his business since he went months without being able to work due to treatments and the ill effects, and now he's wondering where he's going to get work from since we all had to find other electrcians to fill in his void and have since lined everything up through the new guys, used their bids, take off's etc...i normally have no problem getting him back on board, but i have to keep a tight schedule, so unfortunately i cant take chances of when he'll ba able to work, when he'll have to leave for treatements and how long he'll be out recouping from them...sucks since i have personal relationships with all my guys, but as bad as it sounds, this is a case where i had to take a step back and say business is business and mae the call of what was going to allow me to stay on schedule and profitable for my own families sake... this is a tough business for sure, soo much pressure on all of us that give a chit to perform that when things get rocky it's hard to recover from. |
