I Did It Now ....

I have been a member of this forum for a few years and have learned a great deal...I am going out on my own ....formed my LLC have GL and WC, have taken my RRP certification course, firm is in application process with EPA to become a certified firm ....now what about my license, well I have hired a licensed contractor as my qualifying agent so technically my firm is licensed but I am not and once my firm completes 2 projects I will be eligible for state test (my agent has to sign off for me)...

and away we go ................

Re: I Did It Now ....

Just wondering if you dont mind if you were successful in getting your license this way? Thank you. Is completion of 2 projects a state requirement for where you are? Was there any issue in getting the qualifying agent to sign for you, both with the agent and the state? Do you have suggestions for someone who plans to go this route, as you have? Appreciate it.
