Welcome Don!

I am thinking of adding the service of cleaning roofs to our company. If you don't mind me asking, but what product do you use to clean roofs?

Re: Hi From Roof Cleaning St. Louis

Is it "Power Washing" or garden hose pressure using a 2% to 6% mix of Bleach, such as Pool Schock?

By the way, welcome to the site. Anyone working on a wet roof gets my hat tipped to them.

Are you involved in any of the pressure cleaning sites and organizations?

There are several good contractors in your same line of work on this board already to communicate with. I primarily would seach out Ken, of PressurePros. He contributes a wealth of marketing and business knowledge to this forum.

Re: Hi From Roof Cleaning St. Louis

Hi Ed,

I'm on all the PW boards (I think). I am also on Ken's DIY chat forum. On the other boards I am known as Don M.

To answer your question, I dont use a pw on the roof. I use a mixture of Sodium Hypochlorite with a few other items tossed in there.

Some homeowners think this is a DIY project. It is not. It can be very dangerous and fatal if you dont know what you are doing
