or try this...

(material + labor + overhead + whatever profit you think you deserve) / however many sqft = price per sqft.

Try the search button, type in How Much. This might explain the silence.

Good Luck

Uhmmmm, okay - welcome to CT?

As for your question... Oh, why not

Labor only right? It's slow, you've never done it before, the GC is trying to help you out & he gives you a price he will pay you to do it. Well you have two choices - say Thanks & do it or decline nicely.

I would suggest you review JH website, and look into the tools you will need to buy / rent & do some math - you should easily be able to do a square an hour with another helper or two (Yes you will need them) - but you might want to drop that down to 1/2 square an hour if it is really cutup or is a two story.

Now, count your blessings that this wasn't posted a couple of hours earlier or you would have had more replies than you probably could have handled as this wasn't an intro - more of a How Much thread posted in the wrong area.

FYI - assuming you really do trim work as a profession & wish to stick around, put your location in your profile, browse around, learn & share - then you may be truly welcomed in.
