Hi all,

My husband and I run Abacus Screens. We provide and install quality security and fly screens and doors. We also do blinds, awnings, wardrobe doors etc.
Check us out online, abacusscreens .com.au

Hi Sue

Welcome to the forum!

If you say stuff like, "hey (hay in Australian), let's go muck around with the blokes", people here in the US will look at you kind of funny.

My sister said that to her new friends here in Florida, shortly after we moved here back in 1980, and they looked at her real funny.

Nice to have you on the forum - enjoy!

I'm a Kiwi, not liking an Aussie is a tradition, not an attitude...)) Welcome Sue, lived in Sydney for 15 years then Cincinnati, OH for the last 10 years. If I can help in any way from this part of the world then happy to. Wow, must have mellowed a little over the years...))

Re: Hi From Down Under

I've never heard of this conflict. We were very close to moving to NZ. in the early 70's. Approved, passports, housing, etc. when Dad was killed in a plane crash.

I'd still like to get 'down under' some day.

Hmmmmmph........speaking strictly from a friendly rivalry point of view.....Sydney maybe more than the Coast. After all, it was an Aussie that posted the full page ad in the New Zealand Herald just before a deciding rugby league test match......"Would the last Kiwi to come to Australia looking for a job, please turn the lights out".
