Hi And Advice On Glue

hi im australian design student and have been given a project to design a new glue bottle for the professional tradesperson. the reason i want to ask is because i hope i can get some positive feedback from people who would use adhesive on a daily basis... information such as:

- what are some of the favourite choices of adhesive bottles?

- what things do you look for when chosing an adhesive bottle? (as in ergonomics... can it be handled well? does it spill excessivley? what size is acceptable? should it be able to stand on its own on a bench? .. etc)

- what things are undesirable?

and anything you can think of. if anyone can help me off the ground with some experience with this i will be eternally grateful

cheers

Re: Hi And Advice On Glue

Why does an Australian design student have his trade listed as 'electrician'?

Anyhow, a glue bottle that would stand upside down, much like the new ketchup bottles, would be cool. That keeps a guy from shaking the glue to the tip every time he wants to use it.

Re: Hi And Advice On Glue

it said at the register bit that if ur not a trady, you cant join it. since id prefer the advice of a professional rather than a DIY person, i decided to make somethin up. i am sorry if it annoys anyone but this is important. i can get the information from other sources.. however i figured forums would help seeing as other forums on completely different subjects were so helpful in the past.

i hope you understand
