Hey From Knoxville TN

Hey I am a newb post wise, but have been reading for a while now. I am 23 and almost out of college. After this simester I will have a civil enginering technology degree from a comunily college. I also have passed the gc tests and just sent in my app. I have been working for a really crooked GC for about a year and 7mo. He recently ran out of money/work. I just started doing jobs on the side and am having great sucess. I am in with some realitors and am meeting other GCs to get work from. I focus on flooring and painting, just because that is what I have done the most of. I just got a f250 with a flat bed, inline 6, and 5spd
This site is amazing. There is so much info that comes from all aspects of construction. I could reed for days. The regulars and moderators really are genious, and very helpfull.
I suck at spelling.
p.s.help with home inspection question in general dis. thanks

Welcome Shank... when your ready for work, give us a shout. We're on overload.

As for the quote above.. Oh how I miss the Bear Bryant years when I could have proudly replied "Roll Tide Roll" to that, but now, I just wear a paperbag in shame. My shirt may say Vols but my blood flows Crimson.

well there goes our relationship. I thought you were a fine upstanding person Robin, but now I am going to have to rethink everything. Just kidding. I cheer for all SEC teams, except when they play UT.

Re: Hey From Knoxville TN

I got a tile saw for 200 at a pawn shop yesterday.
Not crap either Felker. It should keep me busy for a while. I did a lot of tile for my old boss.
I can haul a lot of tile with the new F250.

Be sure you have all of the licenses that you need in Knox county. Good Liability insurance too. If you need an Insurance guy to quote it for you, ask for five star contractor's insurance and call Security Insurance in Lafollette, Tn that is where I have my insurance and it is a great company.
Good Luck!
