Hello From Wisconsin

Just found the site, having a good time reading some things, was really laughing at the excuses for not coming into work! lol I think everyone of those guys worked for me at some point

Anyway, My Name is Willy,
thompsoncarpentry dot com
I have been in biz since 84. worked for my father before that, since I was 12. I am a remodeling/carpenter. Was in the union in my youth, ran a few jobs etc. I am non-union now. I have gone the gambit from being only me, upto a high of 17 employees, and now its just me and one semi retired guy again. Lifes much simpler

My Son and I also co-own a Miata parts business and race the little devils as well btdtracing dot com

looking forward to reading and posting, later all.

Re: Hello From Wisconsin

Welcome!
I just got back from three weeks
behind the Cheese Curtain!
Working on Middle Sis' bathroom
in Racine.
Closest real lumber yard I could find
was Worzella's up in Franklin, 45 min.
each way.

I spread it around a bit though.
Hired United Mechanical for plumbing,
and Floortech Interiors to lay her
Marmoleum.

Take a hint.
Put Racine,Wi in your profile.
It saves a lot of misunderstandings,
trust me.
