Hello From Upstate NY

Hey everyone.......quick note to introduce myself. I live in upstate NY, 30 minutes east of Rochester on Lake Ontario and am freezing right now...we had a small ice storm last night that I'm unthawing from...at least we didn't lose electrical like we have in previous storms!

Looking forward to getting to know everyone

Another welcome from another NY'er. I'm up near Fort Drum where it always seems to be cold except them 2 days in August.

Good Luck

Welcome right from home, I'm in Greece,NY and maybe this will make you feel better; today we were 35 ft up on the scaffold finishing a wood burning chimney block structure to be bricked later,we made it just in time before the snow got here.
Regards!

Wow CR2 you're lucky...you did hear that they are calling for up to a foot of snow by sunday morning! I'm sure the HO appreciates the job getting done, not to mention you don't have to be up there tomorrow in a storm. I have a sister that lives out in Greece....are you out by the lake?

Hi,Deb,I live just behind the Town Hall, not right on the lake but, close enough to get a decent amount of snow, and I'm not that lucky, today we'll be heading to Cobblestone Creek to set scaffold for the next job and take advantage of Mon-Tue which are going to be better days,I'm ready to go out, take care and stay warm!
Regards!

Hold on here, Debs. How does one "unthaw"? ]

I always thought you either thawed out or you didn't.
