Hello From Salisbury NC

Hey ya'll!

My name is Bryan. I am from North Carolina. My boss and I are looking to get our General Contractors License for North Carolina. We are most likely going with the NASCLA route so we are able to work outside of the state, just in case a job opportunity arises. I look forward to talking with yall!

Thank you!
Bryan

Welcome from Greensboro. A lot of good people and info here.

If I could ask, what does that lic org do for you ?

Are you sure you need a NCGC lic to do work in NC or its reciprocal states ?

Hope a NC grader can check in ?

Good luck.

Just made a quick look. Looks like there is a NCGC - H Grading test.

I wonder if the $30k amt or above applies to your trade ?

Re: Hello From Salisbury NC

Thanks for the quick replies yall!

We do not need the license for the current line of work that we are in. We are wanting to expand our company. My boss has just about done everything under the sun in his career. Now he wants to try and combine his experience and my drive and determination to grow his business and drag me to the top with him. He wants to get into the business of erecting small (for now) steel buildings and grow from there.

Welcome! I miss my daily lunches in Salisbury. Pork BBQ salad was my healthy choice!
