Re: Hello From Pensacola, FL

Hello Chris,

I am incorporated-

do you have specific questions?

I am not an expert- and can only speak from my very limited experience of going through the process here in FL.

To incorporate, the cost is about $80, with a $150 annual reporting fee.
Incorporation allows you and 2 other 'officers' to choose to be workman's comp exempt in FL.

Workman's comp exemption in FL costs $50/ 2 years/person.

Occupational licences are about $15 for Santa Rosa, $25 for Escambia Co.

All builders require liability insurance, but many homeowners do not- we pay about $1100/yr/person for 2 people @ 1milllion general liabilty (covers damage to other people and other stuff- not us or our stuff)

Sunbiz.org is a State of FL website that you can use for incorporation, and maybe LLC.

hope this helps,- feel free to ask more questions - I or others should be able to help.
