Hello from PA.
Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I have 12+ years in custom homes, remodeling, additions. My business partner and I use to work together then he went and worked for modular home setters. Then we worked as subs working mainly for builders (which is still a good part of our work) But beginning of this year we decided to do more of our own thing building custom stick built homes and additions, Custom modular homes and addition, remodeling work. I been reading alot of the posts on here and I think its a great place with alot of valuable information. There is a 1000 different ways to do something and sometimes its good to see how others run their business, do marketing, or just how they deal with customers. Looking forward to learning and attributing. Anyone from central/southeastern pa ?

Hey Andy,
My wife lived in Reading all her life until we got married. She lived in Berks County. She is spanish and man are there alot of Spanish there. She lived off of 5th street I believe. I always wanted Chicago style pizza and got some from this one Italian place. They gave me the price of this small looking pizza and I was blown away because I was like I can get two Pizza Hut deals for 18 bux. I opened the box and "attempted to eat a slice" That thing will fill you up and well worth the price. Another place she had to take me to was what I called make out point called the Pagoda. That was a nice place, but when a southener like me comes up and says hi ya'll people tend to look.

Some townships require you to have a contractors license to work in their township. They usually only cost $100 and are good for a year. Where in Luzerne county will you be working ?
