Hello From North Central Ohio

Long time reader first time poster. I am located in north central Ohio near Sandusky (Cedar Point). I was just recently layed off from my job at Con-Way freight (Thank God!!!) due to economic times. Prior to that me and my wife were self employed in the mortgage industry for 7 yrs and also rehabbed/flipped a few properties. Now that I have had a taste of the freedom I'm sitting here trying to figure out what in the hell to do for my next big $$$$$ venture. Ihave all my tools, equipment, and knowledge to start a handyman business but not sure if the money is there. It just seems as there might be a whole lot of average jobless joes (like myself) out there looking for a quick buck to get them by for another week. From the little research I have done in the past handymen in my area range from (franchise)$130 first hr $80 each additional hr to $15-20 hr (no namer with tools and truck that will be gone by mid summer) and of course you'll get a few that pull a # out of the sky and bid each job hoping they didn't cut their profits. Just curious if there are any handymen out there getting rich? Although if your rich your probably not even reading this because its hard to drive your yacht and type at the same time
Sooooooo once again HELLO and thank you.

Hello JT. Southern Ohio here. I don't know what the handymen around here are charging so can't help you there. Good Luck if you decide to go for it...and welcome to the site.
