Hello From Massachusetts

Name is Mills, John Mills. and I like it coped not mitered. I am new here so I'm not to sure where this is going to go after i submit it. So im sorry if it goes to the wrong place. live in Ma. not by choice though.
I just started off on my own doing custom finish work.
So you are going to be getting alot more pricing questions. (sorry) I do mostly Victorian style work and i have no idea on pricing it. Well while i sit down and start thinking about all the questions i need answers ill let you be for now. Thank you

I too am from the most taxable state, not far from the "live Free Or Die State.

Nice to meet other people who have to pay more and get less.

Re: Hello From Massachusetts

Hey John,

I'm new to the site and am also from MA. Welcome aboard!

I'm planning a fall project which involves demolishing my garage and
building a new one with an in-law above it complete with a new plumbing installation (bathroom & sink). The dimensions are 45' x 35'.
I'm going to do as much of the work as possible to save some cash.
Any ideas? I'm open to all suggestions for the foundation, framing, etc.
Thanks in advance!

Mike

Re: Hello From Massachusetts

Depends on what you use for e-mail
Some programs will ask you if you want to "shrink" the pics for e-mailing

So what I do for a cheap and easy shrink, I fake e-mail them

I open up the folder the pics are in, choose one (don't double click to open, just choose), then off to the left there should be a "what do you want to do..."
Choose "e-mail this file"
It should open up your Compose or Write e-mail and give you that "do you want to shrink" option
Say Yup
Now it's a shrunk attachment on your composing e-mail

Don't fill out the email, you're not going to send it

Then I double click the shrunk attachment on the composing e-mail (ooh-it might be right click, but I don't think so), choose "save to disc" -I usually choose to save it to desktop so I know right where it is (If I'm going to save it I'll add "shrunk" or something to the name)

-and Wala....shrunk pic file on your desk top
