Hello From Louisville,Ky

I am a trim carpenter and the company I worked for just folded up.All the builders that we worked for stopped doing anything, so lately I been going out on my own.I always did have the name of S&S custom Trim & Paint because I am a sub for one bigger company that always kept me busy and I had to have a name for tax purposes. I have got to learn how to bid things, sometimes the money that my last employer charged made me feel guilty,I know that is dumb and it is getting in the way of me understanding how much to charge for my labor. I have read a few post here and decided to join and maybe I can learn some important things about what I am interested in.I am trying to build a customer base for myself. I have no employees and pay my own insurance for workmans comp. I hope someone will lend me a bit of advice for some pricing on bids. Thanks!Hope to make friends here. Mark

Charge what you feel you are worth. If the customer agrees and signs the contract you have set the right price.
