Hi All,
InspectorD here. Dana is the name (and yes, I am a Guy!)

I've been a member here since July 07 but have not posted much. Today I'm jumping in with both feet.

I'm a 6 year veteran of the Home Inspection field, a retired general contractor with HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical licenses. I'm also a Certified Thermographer and avowed Geek. I love technology.
I use a TabletPC for inspections, and an Ev-DO card to email them from the field. I'm set up to and usually do three inspections per day and print on site. Out here, this can be a high volume business if you do it right. I've done over 2500 paid inspections and counting. Actually, I would rather do Thermal inspections more than Home Inspections now. It pays MUCH better and is a lot less work and waaaaay less liability.

I welcome any questions and will participate in the forums as much as I can.
