Hello From Indiana.

I'm a small co. here in central western Indiana. I have 2 elderly customers that I change light bulbs for, (previous work done for them) to building you a house. I'm getting old (53 in 2 days) and Arther(ritis) plays havoc on me most of the time. I'm glad to have found the forum. Thanks Nathan!

Welcome. If you think you are old and broke down at 53, wait until you are 70. BTW, how many GC's DOES it take to change a light bulb?

Couldn't resist.

Enjoy your stay.

Welcome! I'm a Hoosier also, perhaps in the same area. How far away from white co. are you? I just signed up last month. This is one of my favorite sites.

"Central western," does that mean
Terre Haute?
I wouldn't admit it either.
Welcome.

Re: Hello From Indiana.

I'm in Bainbridge. It's half way between Indy and the IL. line. Straight shot west on US 36. 15 miles west of Danville. 13 miles north of Greencastle which has DePauw University. (Hot college girls) Or 15 miles east of Racoon lake/ state park. 36 is a main route for the covered bridge festival. Traffic sucks then! I can walk from one end of town to the other in about 15 minutes. Don't laugh because we are civilized here. We have a traffic light here in town! We also have a vidio rental, post office, tavern, convenient store, 2 pizza places, liquor store and our pride and joy The Bainbridge Mall (Family Dollar Store) They went first class when they built it too! They put those fancy self stick tiles on the floor and paved the parking lot!

Welcome.

The Covered Bridge Festival?

All we had in Circleville Ohio was The Pumpkin Show.

Re: Hello From Indiana.

Now if you want to take redneck.... The next town north of us is 7 miles. It's called Roachdale. For many many years they had an annual contest. It drew really really big crowds. They would have the fire department been dinner and a few carnival things set up. Usually a local band and a few other things going on as well. So you ask "What was this major event that attracted so many Mike? I HAVE to know. PLEASE tell me!" OK i'll tell ya but swallow your coffee first....... It was the annual Roach Race!!! Little race tracks set up.... The whole 9 yards!
