You struck a chord, now.
I have his portrait hanging up behind my bar at the house. It freaks people out. I almost shelled out $1500 for a Mick Rock original from the Madcap Laughs album cover shoot. My wife would have shot me. I also got my hands on a copy of "Lucy Leave" this past summer, the first song Pink Floyd ever recorded (not on any official album). Prior to David Gilmore, when Bob Klose was on lead guitar. Also, speaking of Syd, ever hear R.E.M. sing Dark Globe? Smashing Pumpkins sing Terrapin? Great covers. R.I.P. Rick & Syd. |
