Talking

Hello Everyone,

Just joined the site since it seems like every time I'm googling something that has to do with the construction trade this site pops up. My father is a custom furniture maker/trim carpenter and so I grew up in the shop and owe my skills and OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) to him. Before the recession hit I was a project manager for a custom home builder and upon being laid off about 9 months ago I started my own business. I'm much happier now that I'm back doing hands on work and not baby sitting different subs. I live and eat construction and woodworking and am a bit of a tool snob. I believe in doing things right and not going around thinking I know everything. Thats why I love places like this because you have access to peoples knowledge. Even though there are quit a few posers that I've seen posting it seems that they get pointed out quickly. I look forward to listening, learning, and sharing.
