Hello


Hello Guys and Gals,
My name is Dan and im from Ny. I have posted a few topics already, sorry for not saying hi sooner. I am a Carpenter have been for 13 yrs. I actually started backwards. Out of trade school i started work with a high end finsh carpenter, but i have become more well rounded since. Been doing additions remodels and starting my second dirt-up house. I posted some pics of the first fl. deck going together, all TJI joist. Deck and roof.
Well,i'll be in touch,..I like this site!!

wondering how you are planning to keep the water out where the roof meets the wall on the right of the first picture?

We framed a "washout" , went as high as we could and framed a ridge from the wall to the roof on the right. The made a sleeper valley to the edge of the building. I hope i explained that right? We had to do the same over the garage side too, between the two roofs.
