Hello

Since this is the introduction thread, time to bore you fine folks with a little bit about myself. Made the leap to the industry after spending too many years doing something else for a living. I've been dabbling in "the trades" for 20 years or so. By dabbling I mean working with a family member here and there who has 30+ years in the business, not taking on any work of my own.

I wanted to make the change 20 years ago but didn't because a.) I was making good money in my profession at the time, b.) I wasn't yet comfortable with my knowledge base and ability since I didn't go to trade school, and c.) I didn't have enough experience in my profession at the time to go back if things didn't work out. Really just a bunch of bullsh*t excuses since I didn't have family obligations at the time.

Now back to today... I've never been happier in a job/career. Hope to scale the business if I could find some good people with a strong work ethic.

I'm a new member, but have been visiting the forum for a couple of years now. Great source of information, its been extremely helpful.
