Hello

Wow!!! I'm so glad I Googled upon this place.

I have so much inner angst and pent up frustration. Hopefully, I'll find kindred souls here.

I was starting flame wars over on the architect forums. I think it might have had something to do with advancing my theory that all the major firms are outsourcing their drafting to India and China. More on that later.

I just put my black nail polish away, now I'm listening to some Type O...I'm so there, man!

Hopefully, you don't take delight in starting flame wars. Welcome to the site.

Re: Hello

No pleasure derived from the flame wars. I don't recall that I started more than 1 thread.

I had to depart their forum. The multiple examples of poor quality and bad math that I was citing were too identifiable. Since my livlihood is dependent on being able to tactfully point out (repeatably)that the dimensions between 30 ft. column lines must add up to 30'-0", it was healthy for me to find a place to anonomously vent but no real progress was being made.

I did find it interesting that some there believed the subs were exploiting the errors in the drawings in exagerated change orders. After all, everybody knows jackhammer operators only make $6/hr.
