Greetings From Georgia
Hi folks. I'm a general remodeler in Duluth, GA, which is now a suburb of Atlanta. I'm in the 3d year of my second career - got outsourced from IT in 2003. Wish I'd jumped ship 20 years ago - would've been a lot easier on the ol' body, but here I is now! I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all (as we say here in GA).

Okay - GO JACKETS!! (I'm not a football fanantic) ;o) Just rec'd a class action suit settlement check (>$7K) from a large telecom company (starts with S) - they let me go after 23 yrs @ age 53, along with a bunch of other folks about my age. Lee |

Welcome - from another new person...
I know what you've been through - had the same thing happen to me, laid off from a specialized computer related field job - then couldn't get another job... even in the mainstream IT field. SO I took the leap into the Handyman / Repair business - I'm also glad I did! Way to go!
