Hello, ladies and gentlemen...

I have been searching for a website where contractors (and DIYers) can discuss the many aspects involved in construction projects, from replacing a simple light fixture to building a housing community. I have found this site to be most informative, from those with seasoned experience in their particular specialties to those wishing to learn "the basics" of building construction.

We ALL benefit from knowledge gained through mentoring, and the discourse of ideas and concepts; from the masters in their craft, as well as new insights from those who are always willing to learn more, initiating new perspectives, perhaps, on old methods, yet respectful of the origins of those methods.

With this in mind, it is my aim, in this forum, to impart the knowledge, skills and perspective I have gained from my endeavours to those less experienced, and to gain knowledge from those who have much more experience than myself. I look forward to frequent, practical and insightful discussions with you all.
