Deck Builder From Eugene, OR Saying Hey
Hey all,
I'm a carpenter here in Eugene, OR (originally from Stevensville, MT - Hatchet might know where that is!). I specialize in decks and patio roofs, pergolas and the occasional fence. I've been on my own for two years, I was a framer before that for 2 years. I got tired of building stuff that got covered up by drywall and siding! My wife found this forum for me after listening to me bitch about another forum I was a member of - too many people chiming in with no real helpful advice, just wanting to hear themselves trash others. I'm hear to share what I know and learn what I don't and be professional and courteous in the process. Hopefully, I'll find this to be a more educational forum. Very nice work, MAc. I'm a deck builder in Toronto Canada, and a lot of our work is in cedar. I prefer wood over composite, so we do a lot of work in cedar.
